review on goodreads
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this book. It was not what I thought it was going to be at all. I was hesitant since so many people loved the book. I did listen to it on audio book, which may have made a difference, but it was fantastic. I felt transported to the locations. Having a humanities background I also have a lot of philosophy background and that also may have been why I liked it so much, but the ideas and true meaning transcend prior knowledge. I have actually read other books by this author and really enjoy his work.
